Dental Implants Before and After

This patient presented with a condition called Amelogenesis Imperfecta. This meant her enamel was severely affected and poor quality.

I treatment planned this with Dr Ross Adams at Hills Orthodontics and we decided to extract 4 teeth. We chose these teeth carefully ensuring we removed the most heavily affected teeth.

2 crowns were initially done – the lower premolars and patient went on to have orthodontic treatment for 2 years.

When her teeth were straightened, I then treated the remaining lower teeth with crowns.

Crowns: IPS e.max® A2 MT (medium translucency) shade – hand shaded by Dr. Jeremy Lung and created in our in-house laboratory.
