What is our All-On-4 Treatment?

The All-on-4 treatment is an innovative treatment designed to replace any of your missing or damaged teeth by placing four acrylics on titanium implants in each jaw to replace the missing tooth root. The implants are comfortable and functional – they’re fixed in place and will look and feel like your natural teeth.

This modern, revolutionary treatment can be used in either the upper or lower jaw (or both) to support immediate fixed replacement teeth.

The technique was invented by Dr Paulo Malo and is proven to be a highly successful, relatively inexpensive, prosthetic teeth option for those who have multiple missing or damaged teeth.

Appear and function like natural teeth

Cosmetically, with All-on-4 you can achieve a beautiful smile you can feel proud of. Your new set of teeth will be permanent and will function just like natural teeth so you can laugh, smile and enjoy food as you normally would.

Value for money

All-on-4 typically costs much less than alternative techniques. The use of four implants reduces the surgical time and complexity of the treatment, which in turn means fewer costs passed onto you.

Quick and less invasive

All-on-4 is less invasive compared to other more conventional methods and can even be performed under a local anaesthetic. It can also be completed within a span of a few weeks, which dramatically reduces your wait time for a new set of teeth.

High success rate

Success rates are much higher than conventional dental implants or other techniques.

Extended warranty with Dr Jeremy Lung

Even though All-on-4 is quicker and less invasive than other treatments, Dr Jeremy Lung believes that you should never have to compromise on quality. That’s why he has an extended warranty for your peace of mind.

Are you an Ideal Candidate?

Dr Jeremy Lung has helped people of all ages with different circumstances to refresh and rejuvenate their smiles. You may consider All-On-4 if you have:

Unsuitable dentures – Ill-fitting or loose dentures can be very uncomfortable. If you are experiencing pain or speech difficulties due to your dentures All-On-4 could be a good option for you.

Missing or damaged teeth – Do you have missing, broken, loose, or decayed teeth? Unfortunately, in many cases, these damaged teeth may not be viable to repair or it may not make financial sense to try and save them. In this case, your best option is extraction and replacement which can be done at a comparatively low cost with All-On-4.

Bone loss – All-On-4 can be a successful technique when you have less jawbone due to bone loss. The technique can be applied to either the upper or lower jaw.

With the proper care, all-on-four implants should last a lifetime.

If you are considering replacing an entire dental arch with all-on-four implants, you might be wondering how long they last.

The good news is that all-on-4 implants are strong and durable, and a permanent solution to tooth loss.

How long do the implants last?

All-on-four dental implants are made from two parts: the implants, which are placed in the jaw bone, and the artificial teeth that are attached to the implants.

By maintaining good oral hygiene and well-maintained oral health, one can often expect the implants themselves to last a lifetime.

However the prosthetics may wear down quicker. With proper care your artificial teeth can last between 10 and 15 years.

How to take care of all-on-four implant?

It is possible to extend the longevity of your all-on-four implant by maintaining good oral hygiene habits.

It’s important to brush your teeth and floss daily to keep your teeth and gums healthy and clean. It’s also a good idea to come in for regular dental check-ups and cleans every six months as this is helpful in preventing issues such as tooth decay and gum disease and maintaining overall oral health.

Another helpful tip is to avoid eating excessive amounts of foods that are particularly hard and crunchy, as these can cause damage to your teeth. Try to also avoid harmful habits such as grinding and clenching your teeth, as well as opening bottles with your teeth.

What does the process involve?

If you are considering all-on-four implants, get in touch with Dr Jeremy Lung to book a consultation.

During your initial consultation, Dr Jeremy Lung will examine your mouth and jaw bone density to determine whether or not you are a suitable candidate. Please also raise any questions or concerns you might have.

Dr Lung will explain the process in detail to you before taking impressions of your teeth. These impressions will be sent to a laboratory where your dental bridges will be fabricated.

During the following appointments, you will receive your all-on-4 dental implants and have a restored smile.

Replacing missing teeth has both aesthetic and health benefits.

If you are missing one or more teeth, you have probably considered a replacement in order to improve the appearance of your smile.

However besides the aesthetic advantages of replacing a missing tooth, did you know that there is also a number of health benefits?

Health benefits of replacing missing teeth

Prevent your teeth from shifting

When you lose a tooth, the surrounding teeth can begin to shift and loosen. As teeth begin to move out of place, you are at risk of oral health problems. These include gum disease, tooth decay and problems with your bite. By filling the gap left by a missing tooth with a restoration, it is often possible to avoid these kinds of problems.

Maintain facial structure

Tooth loss often leads to the deterioration of the facial bone and muscles, which causes the face to sag and droop. Replacing a missing tooth helps to maintain facial structure and provides many health benefits. Missing teeth can also cause changes to the TMJ muscles and can lead to discomfort and pain in the jaw.

Lower the risk of oral disease

Gaps left by missing teeth are an easy target for bacteria to gather and these areas tend to be at high risk of issues such as gum disease. It can also be difficult to brush and floss properly in the area surrounding a missing tooth, particularly if your remaining teeth have shifted and have become misaligned as a result.

Restore proper oral function

Having one or more missing teeth can make it difficult to eat certain foods or to chew and bite with adequate force. There is also a chance that missing teeth can also cause speech issues, making it difficult to pronounce certain sounds. By replacing a missing tooth, it is possible to restore proper oral function and speech.

How can we help?

Dr Jeremy Lung offers a number of treatments designed to replace missing teeth, including dental implants, as well as all-on-4 which replaces an entire dental arch. All-on-4 implants involve the placement of four acrylic on titanium implants in each jaw.

All-on-4 implants can be used in either the upper or lower jaw and a are a good option for individuals who are missing multiple teeth. Find out more information on all-on-4 here.

Singular dental implants are made from three main elements: an artificial root made from biocompatible titanium; an abutment that is attached to the head of the implant; and a prosthetic tooth or crown made from porcelain. Dental implants look and feel just like natural teeth and are a great solution for individuals who would like to restore oral function.

All-on-4 dental implants replace all of the teeth with the use of just four dental implants.

Tooth loss is a common problem, but thanks to advances in the field of dentistry, there are a number of ways in which the issue can be resolved. Dental implants are an essential part of modern dentistry and help to restore both form and function to one’s smile. All-on-4 implants are unique — they provide a full arch of teeth with just four implants. Read on to find out more about all-on-4 implants and how they work…

What is an implant?

An implant is a small screw made from biocompatible titanium that is surgically placed into the jaw bone. An implant is designed to replace the root of a missing tooth completely. Once an implant has been placed in the jawbone, a crown is attached. This helps to achieve a natural-looking and functional replacement tooth. Implants are a highly effective means of restoring oral function and are often an excellent option for individuals who have severely damaged or missing teeth.

What are all-on-4 implants?

All-on-4 implants are an innovative and unique type of restoration which are ideal for patients who need to replace a full arch of teeth. Four dental implants are placed into the jawbone. These implants act as a foundation for the teeth. A full bridge of prosthetic teeth is then attached to the implants for a natural-looking result. The technique can be performed on either the upper or lower jaw, depending on your needs.

What are the benefits of all-on-4 implants?

All-on-4 dental implants are ideal for individuals who lost their teeth in the past and are currently wearing dentures. Success rates are typically excellent, and it is possible to achieve results that look and feel just like natural teeth. One of the main benefits of all-on-4 implants is that the treatment can be completed very quickly. It is possible to have a full arch of teeth placed in as little as a few weeks. Another advantage of the technique is that there is virtually no need for bone grafting, so the procedure is less invasive than other methods. The cost is also generally less than most other techniques, thanks to the reduced surgical time and the fact that the treatment is less complex than other methods.

All-on-6 Epping

There are times, depending on the individual, when six (all-on-6) dental implants may be required instead of four which is typically undertaken in the All-on-4 procedure.

What is All-on-6?

All-on-6 is very similar to the All-on-4 procedure in that it is an innovative treatment designed to replace missing or damaged teeth by placing six acrylic on titanium implants in each jaw to replace the missing tooth root. Implants are comfortable and functional – they are fixed in place and will look and feel like your natural teeth.

This modern, revolutionary treatment can be used in either the upper or lower jaw (or both) to support immediate fixed replacement teeth.

The technique was invented by Dr Paulo Malo and is proven to be a highly successful, relatively inexpensive prosthetic teeth option for those who have multiple missing or damaged teeth.

By using six implants you will enjoy the benefits of excellent support and durability of the implant teeth.

Do I need All on Six?

Dr Jeremy Lung has helped people of all ages, with different circumstances, refresh and rejuvenate their smile. You may consider All-on-6 if you have:

•                Unsuitable dentures

Ill-fitting or loose dentures can be very uncomfortable. If you are experiencing pain or speech difficulties due to your dentures All-on-6 could be a good option for you.

•                Missing or damaged teeth

If you have significant amount of missing, broken, loose or decayed teeth, or even a full arch of missing teeth, All-on-6 might be suitable for you. Tooth extraction and replacement which can be done at comparatively low cost with All-on-6.

•                Bone loss

All-on-6 can be a successful technique when you have severe bone resorption to attain maximum stability. The technique can be applied to either upper or lower jaw, dependent upon bone volume and density.

What is the All-on-6 procedure?

In your first consultation, Dr Jeremy Lung will examine your mouth and jaw bone density to assess whether you are a candidate for the All-on-6 treatment. He will also explain All-on-6 in depth, so you can understand how the procedure works, what you need to do to prepare for surgery, and the recovery process. He will also take an X-ray and a CBCT scan (3D digital imaging) to gain a better picture of whether you would be a good candidate for surgery.

If the treatment is right for you, Dr Lung will take some impressions of your teeth, which will then be sent to a laboratory so that your dental bridge can be created.

In your next appointment, the All-on-6 process can begin. Some dentists can perform the surgery in one session. However, where Dr Jeremy Lung differs is that he does not follow this method as you cannot pre-determine where the bone will heal. He ensures the highest possible chance of success by extracting teeth, waiting for the mouth to heal, and then placing the new implants to reduce risk of infection, avoid the need for grafting, and maintain healthy bone.

Dr Jeremy Lung

In all cases, Jeremy will only recommend what treatments are actually applicable. He won’t push for upselling treatments such as All-On-6. He will recommend treatments with integrity and expertise.
