Frequently asked questions.

We know you may have more questions. Here are answers to some common concerns about All-on-X treatment:

Q: Does the All-on-X implant procedure hurt?

A: The procedure is done under local anesthesia, so you won’t feel pain during surgery. For anxious patients, sedation options are also available. After the procedure, mild soreness or swelling is normal and we’ll prescribe pain relief as needed. Many patients are surprised by how manageable the recovery is, often experiencing only mild to moderate discomfort. You’ll also receive detailed aftercare instructions and follow-up support.

Q: How quickly will I get my new teeth? Will I leave the surgery with no teeth?

A: You will not be left without teeth. On Day 1, we place the implants and remove any remaining teeth. Within 24 hours, a fixed temporary bridge is attached, so you’ll walk out the next day with a functional and great-looking smile. After 3–6 months of healing, you’ll receive your final permanent teeth—often made from high-quality zirconia. You’ll always have a full smile throughout the process, without any awkward gaps or dentures.

Q: What if I’ve been told I don’t have enough bone for implants?

A: All-on-X is ideal for patients with bone loss. The technique uses angled implants placed in areas with stronger bone, often avoiding the need for grafts. Even if you’ve worn dentures for years or were told implants weren’t possible, you may still be a great candidate. In some cases, we use six implants (All-on-6) for added support. We use a 3D scan to evaluate and plan your case safely and effectively.

Q: How long do All-on-X implants last?

A: All-on-X is designed to be a long-term solution. The titanium implants can last decades with proper care. The bridge itself may wear over time, but premium materials like zirconia provide excellent durability. With good hygiene and regular check-ups, your new teeth can last 15 years or more. We also provide a 8-year warranty on the final teeth for peace of mind.

Q: I’m interested – how do I get started and how much does it cost?

A: Getting started is easy. Book a free consultation (we offer a few each week) where we’ll take a 3D scan, assess your needs, and give you a detailed quote. Pricing is usually a fixed package per arch, covering everything from implants and surgery to temporary and final teeth. Many patients use a mix of health insurance, early super release, or interest-free payment plans to manage costs. It's a life-changing investment—and we’re here to help you every step of the way.
